Introducing Helen Jacobe, our new General Manager
I am an Australian woman, descendant of the earliest convicts, later of refugees escaping persecution in Europe and loyal ANZACS.
I grew up in Melbourne with my vocation in hospitality taking me first to Sydney, then all over the world, working many years as an expatriate Hotel General Manager in locations as diverse as the central skyscraper district of Tokyo to a remote island in Indonesia. Most recently I have been working in Canberra at the Australian National University.
I have been successful in developing several new and undefined destinations, leveraging precinct collaboration for holistic outcomes and known for leading award-winning teams.
