Arriving by Car

There is now a raised island in front of Liberty Place (next door to our building), which is a No-Parking Zone. Vehicles may stop on the street to drop off passengers from the driver’s side. The surface between the island and the footpath is flat for easy access. Be cautious of cyclists when crossing.

Additionally, there are no right-hand turns into Park St, Bathurst St or Liverpool St. Instead, vehicles must continue to Goulburn St, turn right into Pitt St, and follow it back to the Secure Parking under the Hilton at 259 Pitt Street.

Alternatively, you can park at Secure Piccadilly, located at 133-137 Castlereagh St, which is a shorter walk to the hotel. Guests can bring their luggage directly from there. Please note that both car parks have a height limit of 1.9 metres.

Arriving by Air

After collecting your luggage at the airport, you can take a taxi, Uber, or avoid queues by purchasing a one-way ticket to Gadigal Station.

1. Take the train to Central Station.
2. Switch to the Sydney Metro (Platform 26) and take one stop to Gadigal Station.
3. Exit via the Park Street exit, go up the escalators, and turn left through the turnstiles. Turn left again onto Castlereagh St.
4. The Castlereagh Boutique Hotel is the second building on the left, approximately 30 meters from the corner of Park Street and Castlereagh St.

For your return trip, purchase a one-way ticket from Gadigal Station to either the Domestic or International Airports. Change at Central to Platform 23. Alternatively, take the Airport Line directly from St James or Museum Stations.

Arriving by Train

We now have 4 train stations in close proximity to our building. The closest is the Sydney Metro which runs from Sydenham in the South to Tallowong in the North. Alight at Gadigal Station and take the Park Street exit. Go up the escalators, and turn left through the turnstiles. Turn left again onto Castlereagh St.

Town Hall, Museum and St James Stations are on the City Circle loop. From Town Hall Station, take Exit 1, turn right and go up the stairs to George Street. Turn away from Sydney Town Hall and follow Park Street two blocks and turn left into Castlereagh Street.
Museum Station is at the Southern end of Hyde Park. Take the Elizabeth Street exit and walk alongside Hyde Park on your right until you reach Park Street. Turn left into Park Street and right into the first street, Castlereagh Street. Castlereagh Boutique Hotel is the second building on the left, approximately 30 meters from the corner of Park Street and Castlereagh St.

St James Station is located almost at the top of Hyde Park. When exiting from St James Station (only one entry & exit), you will be at the intersection of Elizabeth & Market Street. Follow Market Street and take the first left turn into Castlereagh Street. Follow Castlereagh Street until you reach 169 Castlereagh Street on your left.

Arriving by Bike

For cycling enthusiasts, you can now ride directly to our door! We provide bike storage in the basement. Please ask our staff for assistance.

Parking Information

The Castlereagh Boutique Hotel offers discounted parking for the Hilton Secure Carpark. Hilton Secure Parking is located at 259 Pitt Street, Sydney and operated 24 hours.

PROCEDURE:

• IMPORTANT – Please contact Hotel Reception on the day at least an hour prior to your arrival.
• Reception will reserve parking and provide you with a code to enter the Hilton car park.
• Turn left into the Hilton Hotel entrance from Pitt Street – access via the 2nd driveway Secure Parking.
• To exit the car park, take lift from Hilton Hotel Lobby to car park area.
• Please follow exit instructions on Reservation.
