A Warm Welcome Abroad - Reciprocal Clubs - The British Club, Singapore

We were delighted to hear from a Club Member following his recent visit to one of our newest reciprocal clubs, The British Club in Singapore. He recounts, “My partner and I found the staff most welcoming. The location is in a quiet part of the island towards the top of a hill and overlooks the Swiss Club and the Swiss Embassy. In the foyer there were two knights in shining armour, a gift shop and the entrance to ‘The Windsor Arms’ bistro. On the upper floor there is the more formal dining ‘Mountbatten Room’. Both dining areas have view to the Club's swimming pool and distant city skyline, and the food and wines are excellent. The Club also has tennis courts on site. Should our fellow Masonic Club members have spare time on their travels to Singapore, we would recommend a visit”

A Taste of the World at the Club

Harmony Week Next week the Club will be celebrating Harmony Week (16–22 March) with a selection of special dishes inspired by the cultural backgrounds of our kitchen team. Andrew, our Head Chef will be joined by three of his talented team members who will be preparing dishes representing their own heritage. Naomi will present a Lebanese favourite - Kibbeh served with hummus, tabbouleh and Lebanese bread. Khun Nat will prepare a fragrant Red Thai Chicken Curry, while Andrew will bring a taste of Austria with his classic Warm Apple Strudel. These dishes celebrate the diversity and talent of our team and the many cultures that help shape the welcoming spirit of the Club.
