Cellos Sparkles for the President’s Dinner

Last Saturday we held the President’s Dinner in Cellos and the room looked stunning. The team worked very hard in the lead up, hand polishing the Club’s orginal silverware which you can see in the adjacent photo of Cellos. Spring cleaning of the heritage chandeliers throughout the building was undertaken, with 100s of crystals replaced and cleaned, and they are now glittering ready for the festive season. The dinner itself was a truly astep back in time. Cellos’ stunning acoustics shone as the orchestra played from the balcony - no amplification needed, just pure, natural sound.

Welcome to our new Maintenance Manager

Last month, we welcomed Terry Donald, our fabulous new Maintenance Manager, who has already made a huge impact around the Club with his eye for detail and discipline. A former member of the Australian Army, Terry brings great energy, teamwork, and a hands-on safety first approach. He’s also a keen cook and recently treated everyone to some delicious homemade sweets to share! We’re also proud to share that Terry has joined the NSW Masonic Club RSL Sub-Branch and will be participating in our upcoming Remembrance Day Commemorative Service on Tuesday 11 November 2025. 2025 Annual Report

Dear Fellow Members and Patrons, Coming up to the 2025 Annual General Meeting, as your President, I’m pleased to let you and all our hotel and club users, know that we have had another great year for the club and hotel. You will see details of our financial achievements attached in this annual report and verbally presented to you at our upcoming AGM. We have a new General Manager in Ms Helen Jacobe, a manager of extensive local and international experience in the hospitality industry. We are very pleased that she has joined us. Ms Jacobe is settling into running our club and hotel and has already identified key aspects for providing major improvements of quality, services and improved benefits for us all.
