PRESIDENT
Peter has served on the Board since 2009 and as President since 2021, providing leadership focused on enhancing the Club and Hotel’s facilities. He has overseen significant refurbishment and improvement projects across accommodation and public areas, strengthening both the member experience and the Club’s income base. Peter brings extensive award-winning experience in architecture, design, and project management as owner and Managing Director of D5D Architects and Project Managers. Supported by senior business education through AGSM at UNSW, he contributes specialist expertise in capital works, together with strong and longstanding Masonic connections.
VICE PRESIDENT AND HOUSE, STAFF AND SUPPLY COMMITTEE CONVENOR
Bill has been a member of the NSW Masonic Club for over 15 years and has served on the Board for six years, contributing strongly to building, engineering, and operational oversight. His hands-on approach and availability have supported effective decision-making across complex operational matters. He brings a technical and commercial background from senior roles in aviation and engineering, including leading his own engineering group. Bill also offers practical governance experience through involvement in residential management committees in Australia and New Zealand and is a Justice of the Peace, with strong affiliations within Freemasonry and allied clubs.
DIRECTOR AND FINANCE COMMITTEE CONVENOR
Robert has over 45 year’s experience in the IT Industry and with more than 20 years as a Managing Director. He has held senior positions within large IT suppliers in Customer Services, Marketing, Sales and Operations. He has tertiary qualifications in Electronic Engineering and he holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Macquarie University. He has 15 years of direct experience serving on Club Boards, including the hospitality sector and managing various buildings. Robert has particular strengths in Strategic Planning, Governance and Financial Management. Robert has also served as the Grand Master of the Mark and Royal Arch Masons in NSW & ACT responsible for overseeing a large membership base.
DIRECTOR
Robert has served on the Board since 2015 and previously held the role of Vice President from 2019 to 2021. With over 30 years of business experience as Governing Director of a private investment management company, Robert brings strong risk awareness to the Board. A Freemason for more than 30 years, he is a Past Master of Lodge 284 and is committed to preserving the Club as a welcoming and financially sound sanctuary for members and guests.
DIRECTOR AND TREASURER
David brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience as a CEO and Managing Director across international organisations and local SMEs. He is currently a business consultant specialising in governance best practice and strategic planning. A committed Freemason, David is a member of The Hills Lodge No. 359 and has held senior Masonic leadership roles, including Lodge Secretary and Chairman of the Castle Hill Masonic Hall Company.
DIRECTOR
Gunnar has served on the Board since 2021. With more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry across marketing technology, IT infrastructure, and risk management, Gunnar brings specialist insight to strategic discussions. He holds a Master of Computer Science and an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management and maintains strong Masonic connections, having served as Worshipful Master and Secretary and as an honorary member of Lodge Verity.
DIRECTOR
Stephen is an experienced club and hotel director with more than four decades of national and international business and government experience. He has served on the NSW Masonic Club Board since 2016 in various roles, including Treasurer. He brings expertise in finance, facilities management, audit and compliance. Stephen also has extensive Masonic experience across Craft and allied orders, contributing depth, continuity, and institutional knowledge to the Board.
DIRECTOR
Allison is an employment and industrial relations lawyer with extensive in-house experience across hospitality and other regulated industries. She brings strong legal, and human resources expertise to Board deliberations, particularly in workforce and compliance matters. Allison holds qualifications in Arts, Business Administration, and Law and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Inner Sydney Voice and the Workers’ Educational Association, where she chairs the HR Committee. Her approach is practical, people-focused, and grounded in sound governance principles.
DIRECTOR
David brings more than 30 years of executive and project leadership experience in commercial building and project management. He is the founding Director and Principal of Propel Projects, providing project management, independent certification and expert witness services to the building and property development sector. David also serves as a Non-Executive Director in the aged care sector and community housing sector, and holds a Bachelor of Building Degree with Honours, a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, and is a Graduate Member of AICD.
