Indulge in a very special experience at our final wine tasting lunch for 2019

Enjoy a touch of “old world charm” while enjoying a wine tasting lunch in Cellos Restaurant, our Grand Dining Room.

Perfect for a catch up with friends, these intimates lunches break away from the formality of a traditional presentation. Our guest speaker mingles with the attendees, allowing the chance for a one-on-one chat or to simply listen in, while indulging in a delicious lunch, some spectacular wines and great company!

This month we will feature wines from the Southern Barossa Vineyards “Purple Hands” label. We are so looking forward to tasting their highly-sought-after reds!

About our Guest Speaker Craig Stansborough

Born in Gawler, on the edge of the Barossa Valley, Craig grew up with the wine industry around him. After leaving school he spent 10 years at the iconic Seppeltsfield winery. In 1993 Craig joined Grant Burge Wines as Assistant Winemaker, progressing to Chief Winemaker in a relatively short period of time.

Craig always dreamt of having his own vineyard and winery, so in 1998 he started looking for that perfect patch of dirt and a year later found 21Ha of beautiful ground in the Southern Barossa.

With great friend and fellow wine devotee Mark Slade, Craig created Purple Hands in 2006. Purple Hands Wines made an immediate impact in the James Halliday Australian Wine Companion, with the inclusion in 2013 with 5 stars immediately and also rated in the top 10 new wineries for that year.

$65 per person ~  2-course lunch and wine tasting
