Join us this ANZAC Day for Lunch and our Commemorative Service
Reserve your place now for the opportunity of attending this very special luncheon, and to commemorate and honour our fallen this ANZAC Day.
A lavish luncheon will be held in Cellos Grand Dining Room then guests will be led by our Returned Servicemen and Pipe Band into the Reagh Bar for a Commemorative Service, culminating in the last post.
The Reagh Bar is home to our War Memorial and is a very historical area of the Club, dedicated to the lives of the Servicemen and Women whose lives were lost during the Wars. The NSW Masonic Club is reported to be the first RSL Sub Branch in New South Wales and the NSW Masonic Sub Branch still meets regularly in the Club. The book featured in the glass cabinet of the War Memorial displays the names of the brave Club Members who fought in the First World War.
Each year on ANZAC Day, Returned Servicemen and Club Members would meet, form up in front of the Club, and march around to George Street for the annual parade. One year it was raining so hard that they decided to use the Club for their parade and form lines from the front doors to the back of the bar. This Parade has continued each year and is now a tradition at 3pm each ANZAC Day. The NSW Masonic RSL Sub Branch forms up at the front of the Club and marches through the foyer to the War Memorial for a dedication ceremony, complete with bagpipes, drums, a priest, and the Last Post.

- CELLOS DINING ROOM – Formal Lunch 12.30pm. Bookings are essential.
- THE ALCOVES – Open from 9am – 4pm. Dining from 11.30am. A limited snack and lunch menu is available.
- COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE – Reagh Bar at 3pm. Assemble in the lobby at 2.30pm.
