Foundation Day Celebrations - A Century in Stone
Last Friday, members and guests gathered in Castlereagh Street to celebrate the Centenary of the NSW Masonic Club’s Foundation Stone Day, marking 100 years since construction began on the building we continue to call home.
The morning ceremony was accompanied by the uplifting sound of a brass band in the street, creating a wonderful sense of occasion as members and guests assembled outside the Club’s historic entrance and adding enjoyment to the surrounding cafes.
A highlight was the ribbon cutting, conducted by MW Bro B. Khristian (Khris) Albano, Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of NSW & ACT, together with NSW Masonic Club Patron MW Bro Dr Gregory (Greg) Henry Levenston OAM.
